BREAKING: Iowa Gov. Reynolds Slams Biden Covid Plan, Says ‘Enough Is Enough!’
BREAKING NEWS: Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds has ripped into President Joe Biden’s new covid-19 mitigation plan, calling it “dangerous” and saying “enough is enough!”
Biden’s new vaccine requirement was announced yesterday, requiring all government employees to be vaccinated and companies with 100
employees or more to require workers to get vaccinated or tested for the virus every week. Companies violating the policy could be hit with heavy fines. There’s no timetable yet on when the mandates will come into effect.
“It’s about protecting yourself and those around you,” Biden said, making the announcement. “The people you work with. The people you care about. The people you love.”
However, Reynolds fired back at the announcement, her office issuing the following statement:
“President Biden is taking dangerous and unprecedented steps to insert the federal government even further into our lives while dismissing the ability of Iowans and Americans to make healthcare decisions for themselves. Biden’s plan will only worsen our workforce shortage and further limit our economic recovery. As I’ve said all along, I believe and trust in Iowans to make the best health decisions for themselves and their families. It’s time for President Biden to do the same. Enough is enough.”
