Bettendorf Public Library’s Creation Studio Workshops on Utilizing Cutting Machines

Located on the second floor of the Bettendorf Public Library, the Creation Studio is the perfect place for all types of makers to explore and create with new tools. The Bettendorf Public Library is hosting two workshops in December with a focus on the computer-controlled cutting machines available for use the Creation Studio. Both free events are for makers aged 16 and up. Registration is required to attend and class size is limited. The Bettendorf Public Library is located at 2950 Learning Campus Dr. in Bettendorf.

Creation Studio Tools Training: Cricut Maker will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00 PM. Registration for the Cricut Maker training workshop starts on November 22 and can be made at https://events.bettendorflibrary.com/event/7433384, in person at the Library, or by calling 563-344-4175.

Registration for the Silhouette Cameo training workshop starts on November 29 and can be made at https://events.bettendorflibrary.com/event/7433384 in person at the Library, or by calling 563-344-4175.

The Cricut Maker and Silhouette Cameo are computer-controlled cutting machines which work on paper, cardstock, vinyl and more. Class registrants will learn how to use each machine’s creation software to make a customizable note card. Creation Studio Programming is made possible through the support of The Bettendorf Public Library Foundation and Quad City Bank & Trust.
