Bettendorf Public Library Presenting Presidential Event

The Bettendorf Public Library is offering tickets to a time-traveling presidential event. From October 19th through October 25th, the Library will offer admission to a virtual edition of Community Connections: The Political Lincoln: Honest Abe on Campaigns & Elections. The Bettendorf Public Library Presenting Presidential Eventprogram welcomes Abraham Lincoln, as portrayed by Kevin Wood, where he’ll describe his campaign and election experiences over his eventful career when the very destiny of our nation was at stake.
Admission to the event will be available through the Library’s website at http://www.bettendorflibrary.com.
No registration is required and the program is free thanks to the support of the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
Kevin Wood is a professional Lincoln presenter who bears a remarkable resemblance to “the Great Emancipator” and who is extremely knowledgeable about the life and times of our 16th president. Mr. Wood has portrayed Abraham Lincoln for nearly two decades and made over 1,100 appearances nationwide. Community Connections: The Political Lincoln: Honest Abe on Campaigns & Elections is a pre-recorded presentation that will be available for viewing during a one week period.
