Bucktown Final Friday Toasts MidCoast ArtistsOn Friday, January 27, at 6 p.m., Bucktown Center for the Arts is hosting a Mid-coast fine arts gallery opening of Bucktown Invitational show. This gallery features the works of Gwen Patton, Brad Bisbey, Heidi Johnson Brandt, Pat Bereskin, David Zahn, Juliet Hightower Stock, Dan Johnson, Tony Seabolt, Jeanne O’Melia, Karen Blomme, Robert Zeidler, Joseph Obleton, Dee Shricker, and Les Bell. A lecture shall be presented by Sherry Maurer on the images of Love in Art, the expanded space for Boho Chic. This event shall also feature Silence and the Song! The paintings of Les Bell, in the Bereskin Fine Art Studio and Gallery. Wine, chocolate, and other refreshments shall be provided. Come meet the artists and enjoy the art.

Bucktown Center for the Arts consists of over a dozen unique shops and studios where you can purchase creative works of art at affordable prices. If you visit their historic building in Downtown Davenport, you will find artists creating everything and hosting workshops for both adults and kids. Final Friday is held on the last Friday of every month and takes place from 6 p.m. till 9 p.m. featuring snacks, drinks, and special events at many of the shops and studios.

Bucktown is also a component of MidCoast Fine Arts, which is a leading non-profit organization for the Quad Cities that is focused on stimulating the community’s cultural and economic vitality through the support of regional visual arts and artists.
