A Charlie Brown Christmas Hits Countryside This Weekend

IGNITING THE MAGIC: CAST OF FIRST-TIMERS BRING HOLIDAY CLASSIC TO LIFE

Get ready to witness a holiday classic like never before! Countryside Community Theatre is absolutely buzzing with excitement as the timeless tale, based on the 1965 TV Special, starring none other than the lovable gang from the iconic “Peanuts” comic strip by Charles Schulz. Prepare to join Charlie Brown as he hilariously takes on the role of director for the school Christmas pageant, all because he can’t handle the materialistic madness that engulfs the holiday season.

More than half of the cast is filled with fresh-faced rookies, including a 9-month-old prodigy in Charlie’s gang! This show is like a shining beacon, illuminating the promising future of local theater. With young talents from both sides of the river, it’s a true masterpiece of community collaboration. The cherry on top? It’s the perfect recipe to keep that holiday spirit alive while letting the turkey settle.

This production is in the hands of the CCT Veteran Sara Tomasson and the musical maestro Cindy Ramos. With fashion flair from Erin Emerle, these young stars are set for a masterpiece.

Countryside Community Theatre is partnering with The Lincoln Center in Davenport to present these performances. The address is 318 E. 7th Street in Davenport, in the Former Lincoln Elementary School.

There will be 4 performances Thanksgiving Weekend: November 24th-26th. Friday (24th), at 3:00 p.m., Saturday (25th) at 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m., and Sunday (26th) at 3:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at https://ccteldridge.booktix.net
