Today’s Video You Deserve Is As Necessary As The Air You Breathe

Mondays can be rough.

Don't Throw Shades At This Week's Video You DeserveAnd so, every Monday, we give you a music video. A fun, funny music video. Something that’ll make you smile, make you laugh, make you reminisce, and make you realize that back in the day, music video creators were probably either insane or heavily intoxicated. But were also incredibly entertaining.

We call this feature, The Video You Deserve, and you can find it every Monday on your site for fun, free entertainment and features, QuadCities.com.

Most wags wrote them off, thinking they were going to fall flat on their faces. But instead, they did quite well for themselves, going on a multi-year run of big hits created by themselves, including “Fox On The Run” and today’s video, “Love Is Like Oxygen,” which not only were big hits in Britain, but also crossed over to even bigger appeal for the band here in the U.S. Alas, like many bands, The Sweet only had about a decade of fame in them, and by the ’80s they were, well, a fox on the run. But for the glorious run in the ’70s, The Sweet had a lot of, well, sweet, tunes. Including this one, their song which peaked at No. 8 in the U.S., “Love Is Like Oxygen”…
