Have Fun Showing QC Pride This Week!
Hey Quad Cities, it’s time to show some PRIDE! QC Unity Pride Week is almost upon us!
To help fulfill their mission of promoting awareness and visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in the Quad Cities, QC Pride has a full week of fun events planned. QC Pride Week kicks off Friday Jun 1 and runs all the way through Saturday Jun 9.
Check out some of these amazing activities to show some PRIDE!
The party kicks off Friday Jun 1 from 4 p.m. – 12 a.m. and Saturday Jun 2 from 12 p.m. – 12 a.m. with STREETFEST in the Village of East Davenport. STREETFEST is sponsored by Baked Beer & Bread Co. and Quad Cities Fall Pride and serves as a fundraiser for Quad Cities Fall Pride. This is family-friendly event and admission is only $5.

Sunday Jun 3 from 12-5 p.m. is Family Fun Day by QCQC. The Quad Cities Queer Committee is hosting a pot-luck picnic and family-friendly games. Bring the whole family!
After Family Fun Day, enjoy a movie on the BIG Screen with Movie Night at the Putnam Museum, for a suggested donation of $3 – $5 donation. Doors open at 6 p.m. Michelle Royal will be giving a short presentation at 6:30 about Gender Identity. At 7 p.m. enjoy Freak Show on the BIG Screen! Monday Jun 4 from 6-10 p.m. head to BAKED Beer & Bread Co. for Open Mic Comedy. Michelle Royal and Tee LeShoure will be hosting the event. 20% of all food and drink sales will be donated to QC Pride. If you are interested in participating, email info@qcunitypride.org.
Tuesday Jun 5 take part in A Taste of Pride Wine Dinner at the J Bar from 6-9 p.m. VIP Ticketholders will receive a free ticket to this event. Public tickets can be purchased for $60 per person. Come enjoy a 4-course wine pairing at the J Bar in Davenport!
Wednesday Jun 6 QC Pride will be hosting The Pink Squirrel Pub Crawl in Downtown Davenport. Registration is $20 per person and includes a Pink Squirrel t-shirt. You are encouraged to dress up however you interpret pride and grab a drink downtown after checking-in at Analog Arcade Bar from 5-6:30 p.m. Enjoy The Fast & The Fabulous Drag Race on 3rd Street from 7-8:30 p.m. Then stay and hang out at all participating Downtown Davenport bars to support the businesses who support the LGBTQ+ community. Want to participate in The Fast & The Fabulous Drag Race from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday night? This push/pull kart race will begin in front of Analog Arcade Bar at 3rd and Brady and head west down 3rd Street, turning around just before Harrison and racing back to the finish line.
