More than 600 vintage tractors, 2,000 signs and farm relics and 100 vintage trucks are set to cross the auction block at the Mississippi Valley Fair Center (2815 W Locust St. Davenport), Nov 6-9 at Mecum Auctions’ 2019 Gone Farmin’ Fall Premier.2019 Gone Farmin’ Fall Premier Rolls into Davenport

Headlining the Gone Farmin’ department’s first dedicated vintage-truck auction segment is an exceedingly rare 1926 Fordson Prototype (Lot K7) dubbed the first heavy-duty truck ever built by Ford. The Fordson exists as Ford’s first purpose-built and designed heavy-duty truck chassis, making it a significant and impressive piece of Ford history. Another highlight of the exciting new truck segment is a 1934 Ford Roadster (Lot K11) that is one of only three known to exist.

The vintage-tractor lineup is the biggest and best selection Gone Farmin’ has offered in Davenport to date and includes a Gas Traction Company Big Four 30 (Lot F44) and a 1918 Holt 75 Crawler (Lot F45)—a rare piece of Caterpillar history. In addition, nearly 20 private collections will be offered including the Jim Mills Collection—an extraordinary assemblage of more than 100 vintage tractors and 2,000 farm signs and relics that exists as one of the finest collections to ever grace the Gone Farmin’ auction stage. The group encompasses the complete set of two-cylinder John Deere Hi-Crops in every fuel configuration.

Among the 2,000 signs and farm relics to be offered throughout the four-day event are porcelain signs, neon signs, gas pumps, wagons, pedal tractors/cars, clocks and more, all ready to decorate your tractor shed or museum.

The auction is open to buyers, sellers and spectators. To register as a bidder for the Gone Farmin’ Fall Premier vintage-tractor auction, visit Mecum.com. Admission to the auction will be $10 per person, per day. Children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission.
